CATHERINE ZHOU

  • I love to move my body and it brings me so much joy to get others to do the same.  I first fell in love with Megaformer 5 years ago. It shook up my preconceived perception of what a workout is, and accelerated me developing a great relationship with my body. After teaching HIIT classes and using the Megaformer as my chosen method of workout I decided why not certify in Lagree and I joined the team in 2020.

    Grateful for the chance both myself and The Place Stockholm took, everyday I am learning from and inspired by my fellow instructors, what a exciting journey it has been so far!

  • We use intuition and breath to flow through the class. I want you to feel challenged and do the best you can with every single repetition. When you need it I encourage you to take the break, but I urge you to jump back in when you can. It is never easy, but we will make it because we believe in our bodies and ourselves. Listen to your body, and respect the way it feels now.

  • I embrace various different music styles in my class and enjoy throwing a theme playlist

    here and there to freshen it up. On any given day we could have indie rock, old-school and

    contemporary hip-hop, or even some occasional Rammstein! :)

  • Teaser, hands down! It has forever changed my life (and my core) and I gladly carry the torch on for it to change yours!
